East Grand Rapids, MI - Byron Center Tennis beat East Grand Rapids last night 6-2 Bulldogs improving the Bulldogs record to 21-4 on the year. The 21st victory is the most ever in BC history. “This is the first time we have ever beaten Forest Hills Northern, Central, Eastern, and East Grand Rapids all in the same season”, said Byron Center Head Coach Andy Ely. “Those that know tennis around the area understand how truly tough that is.” This win marked the end of the regular season. Next up tomorrow/Wednesday is the ‘one and done’ postseason Regional tournament at Forest Hills Northern and Central high schools starting at 9am where the Bulldogs will try to qualify for the state tournament. “The environment for Regionals is always crazy loud and intense so we really appreciate the support of our fans. If you can make it, please come out and support this special team!”
