BC Tennis wins Back to Back Conference Championships!

Jenison, MI - The Byron Center Bulldogs tennis team won the OK Green Conference Championship today for the second year in a row taking first place in 7 out of 9 flights! Winning flights for BC were: 3 singles Ryan McKendry, 4 singles Cole Krauss, 1 doubles Rylan Vandenberge and Casey Schans. 2 doubles Nolan Booth and Brayden Slot, 3 Doubles Aidan Banchoff and Ben VanderStelt, 4 doubles Zeke Sandholm and Brody Slot, and 5 doubles Drew Devries and Sam Newell. "We came in focused on what we needed to do, and did a good job overall making it happen", said Varsity coach Andy Ely. "The tournament was held on Jenison's brand new courts and it was nice to get a win there. The depth of our team has always been a strength of this team and it really helped us during conference play." Next up: BC takes on East Grand Rapids away on Monday starting at 4pm. This is BC's last dual of the year before they head into the all important Regional tournament on Wednesday. Like this message and come out Monday and Wednesday to support your BC Tennis team!
