8/18/26 Byron Center, MI - BC Boys Tennis played in a 3 team Tri event at Byron Center on Tuesday August 18th with the Bulldogs coming out on top of Mattawan 9-1 and West Ottawa 6-3. BC dropped only the 1S match against Mattawan. Against West Ottawa, the singles led the squad to its 5th victory of the season. “The doubles faced their toughest competition of the season so far and fought hard throughout their matches”, said varsity head coach Andy Ely. “The speed picked up and our guys got their first taste of that”. Next up for BC is one of the top teams in the state and regional opponent, Forest Hills Northern at home on Thursday at 4:15pm.
